Large Roseville Jonquil Bulbous Vase - 1930's
Here we are offering a rather large Roseville Vase that was made in the 1930's. This vase stands 7 inches tall and is a bulbous shape. This piece is unmarked which is not uncommon for these jonquil pieces. There are some issues with this vase. Around one of the handles is what appears to be a crack. I am thinking that this may just be a glaze crack as the piece still rings when tapped. There is not the thud sound there is when the body of the piece has been compromised. I have photographed it for you to judge for yourself. Inside there is also some missing glaze in the bottom. There is no other issues that I can see. I do not think this is a common piece from what I have been able to find out. It really is quite a nice piece to display! Thanks for looking.
