Winston Churchill and FDR Cup and Saucer

Here we have a cup and saucer that commemorates the joint efforts of Churchill and FDR. This cup and saucer was made by the Alfred Meakin Co. of England. The funny thing is that the cup is simple stamped Made in England. There is some crazing to the bottom of the cup but none on the body of the cup or saucer. The design is of Churchill and FDR facing each other with the slogan "The Champions of Democracy. In between is the Statue of Liberty and a world globe. At the bottom of the saucer is the Union Jack and the American flags. This is most likely form the late 1930's the the early 1940's. From what I have read, Churchill and FDR had a very good relationship. I have not seen one of these cups and saucers yet. It seems to be a bit unusual to me. You be the judge. Please check the photos for details and thanks for looking!
