MIniature Staffordshire Style Dog - 3 1/4 inches tall

Here we have a miniature Staffordshire Dog that measures 3 1/4 inches tall. He has the applied poodle type "fur". He most likely dates to the early 1900s into the 20's. He is made in England and his maker mark is unreadable. He is unusual as he has a factory defect on his right ear. It is missing all of the poodle fur. He should of never made it out of the factory. He has hand painted, under the glaze accents. Other than his missing "fur", he has no defects other than crazing. He really is a cute little dog that would be a great addition to a staffie collection. Note: Staffordshire is a region that was known to produce this style of dogs and other crude figures. He would of had a mirror image mate. He is alone and cute just as he is!
