4 Piece Taylor Smith Taylor Serving Set

We are pleased to offer this vintage 4-piece serving set by Taylor Smith Taylor. This set includes a serving platter, a round serving bowl, a rectangular serving bowl and a gravy/sauce boat. This rare pattern, TST 27 on Replacements, features a peach background adorned with mauve & yellow roses accented with silver painted rims. It's very hard to find replacements for this early 20th century pattern. This set belonged to the current owner's great-grandmother who was married in 1919 and acquired these early in her marriage as part of her formal table setting. These four pieces are the only items left. The rectangle/oval platter measures 13" long and is 10" wide. There are two discoloration spots on the back. The round serving bowl measures 9" across and is 3" deep and has some hairline cracks. The rectangular serving bowl measures 9.5" long, 6 5/8" wide and is 2" deep. It has a visible crack in the bottom, however, it is still usable. Gravy/sauce pitcher measures 6" end-to-end, 4.5" wide and 2" deep. It has a small chip on the spout. All pieces have visible wearing of the silver paint accents and have superficial cracks in the glaze finish, which is normal for their age. Overall they are still gorgeous and in very good condition considering their age. Please view all pictures carefully.
