Victorian Cameo Brooch

We are offering this lovely victorian cameo brooch. This vermeil brooch measures 2 1/1" by 1/2". The cameo is shell on either stone or glass, we can't really tell. We have been able to date this back to the mid 1800s. The closure on the back tells the age period. This brooch is in great condition, there is of course normal wear and tarnish for an item of this age.
