What a unique design this belt has! I'm guessing Dorothy bought this belt for a trip. She obviously got a lot of use out of it, but despite the wear, it is so different we had to include it. The inside is marked "handcrafted for Annette", but it is worn and hard to read. The numbers "30" and "57" also appear. There are eight brass medallions incised with six stars each spaced along the wavy length of the belt. One of the medallions has a tad of discoloration. The buckle is oblong and covered in the same navy colored leather. There is considerable wear, including frayed belt holes, broken stitching and missing leather patch on the backside of one of the medallions. Imagine it on a bright white dress. The total length of the belt is 34 inches and it is 3/4 inch wide, fitting waist sizes 29" to 30 1/2 inches. This item has not been professionally cleaned.
