Haviland Limoges covered vegetable HP roses gold Ranson #1 mold mark I circa 1910 very near mint
Measurements and dating: The diameter of the cover is 8". The inside diameter of the base is just under 7" and the foot diameter is 6". The widest point including the handles is just over 9" and the piece stands at around 4.5" with cover in place. The piece is fully marked Haviland France in green which is the most common mark being the "I" mark and dates the body of this piece from 1894-1931 but I believe from the painting that this dates from early in that period from just after the turn of the twentieth century to around 1910 at the very latest.
Condition report: Is antique excellent and very near mint with no chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks and only the most minor of gilt loss the the handles from lifting and dusting the piece over the last hundred plus years. The painted roses are fresh and vibrant and beautifully executed. Please see all attached pictures to assess the merits of this stunning piece of high quality Limoges from the master designers at Haviland and painted by a master rose painters hands.
Note: The stand is not included in the purchase price.
