Late 19th Century Flow Blue Chinese Kitchen Ching Teapot

The body of this very nice stylized Chinese porcelain teapot is in dark underglaze cobalt which has bled. The design looks floral with a basket weave around the neck. It may be a stylized crab and basket. There are blue marks on the top, handle loops, and the spout. The footring is unglazed. The base is glazed. There are irregularities in the glaze. The white glaze has a bluish tinge. The lid is indented.

There are no porcelain marks or labels.

Measures 4" diameter and 5" tall

The condition is very good. There is only one very tiny chip at the spout end. The bamboo handle is gone.

A beautiful traditional work of Chinese folk art.
