Fine Monochrome Apple Green Vase Late 19th/ Early 20th Century

This exceptional vase from the Republic Period (late 19th century or early 20th century) has a beautiful evenly-toned rich emerald green translucent glaze over a crackle glaze. The feel of the glaze is wonderfully thick and rich, and its depth gives a wonderful jewel-like glow. The inside and base are a nice white crackle glaze. The foot ring has a nice warn smoothness with very good glaze control at the base.

Please note: Due to the vase's highly reflective surface, we had trouble removing the reflection from the vase in the photographs. The area below the reflection in most photos only begins to capture the depth of the glaze.

Measures approximately 1 foot tall and 5" diameter

In perfect condition.

An extremely high quality vase produced by the finest craftsmen of the Republic Period.
