A Fine , Very Large..... 5.91 Carat Emerald & Diamond ENGLISH Ring

This is a very Grand, a "The Mother of All Emerald Rings" If you are looking for a Very LARGE ring that will stand out in a crowd, this is it. The Emerald alone is 5.91 Carats,we know this as the Emerald has been re-polished.

The Emerald size is 11mm x 10.5mm x 8mm deep.A Fine colour and very bright,has very few inclusions for its size.The Emerald and Diamond are in a "cut down" setting. It is surrounded by 20 "old cut" Diamonds,with an approx. total weight in access of of one carat. The overall size is 19.5mm x 18mm. From the style and design the ring is late Georgian,the Diamonds are set in Silver(as this was the only white precious metal available then)the Emerald seems to be set 22ct or Fine gold and the remainder is tested as 18carat yellow Gold, with a Trefoil design shank. The finger size is "U" UK or "10" US, can be sized up or down with no problem. The overall condition is very good with very little wear anywhere.
