Souvenir of France Hankie with Colorful Rooster & Rooster Print

This seven-inch square with the joyful, colorful rooster will make a charming decorative addition to a French/rooster collection. I do not believe it is silk; it is a crepe-like material. It may have originally been sold as a hankie, but the material is a little more elegant to be used for that purpose. This would be a nice doll hankie, however. The print, with the rooster with apron and serving dish, is entitled "le Coq". It is by Isiah and Benjamin Lane, Felix Rosenstiel's Widow & Son, Ltd. London. The 3-level matte is 8 x 10"
