The beautiful freesia.
A symbol of innocence, trust and faithfulness. This flower is most commonly used as a wedding flower for these reasons.
Featured on both sides of this charming vase is this beautiful flower ~ purple freesias on one side and white ones on the other side.
This sculpted fan vase was made by the highly collectible, Roseville Pottery. The Roseville pottery company operated in Roseville and Zanesville, Ohio, from around 1890 to 1954. This vase was made in the USA in 1945, and it is marked 199-6 on the bottom.
It was fired in a matte glaze, and measures 6.25" high and 7.25" wide from handle to handle. It is approx. 3.25" deep across the base.
This vase is in excellent condition and the only issue is a small chip on the bottom that cannot be seen when the vase is displayed (see last pic for detail).
A beautiful, harder to find piece by a reputable American pottery maker.
