Circa 1960-1980s, this vintage art features Longhi's 'Blindman's Buff' from the Samuel H. Kress Collection.
It is a harder-to-find print that was distributed by the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
This print was sold as a souvenir for those visiting the museum and we recently discovered it at an Atlanta estate along with a stack of other vintage prints from a similar era (1950-80s). We will be listing them over the next week or so.
This print measures 14" high x 11" wide. The image view is 9" high x 11" wide. It is without a frame and was beautifully printed on heavier weight paper. There is age-related toning and foxing along the white border (consistent with age), but the image is flawless.
This print is in overall excellent condition, without rips or tears, and is ready for framing.
A lovely vintage print for any haunted wall.
