Circa 1960-1980s, this vintage art features Van Dyck's 'Clelia Cattaneo, Daughter of Marchesa Elena Grimaldi.'
It is a hard-to-find print that was distributed by the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. The original painting is from the Widener collection.
This print was sold as a souvenir for those visiting the museum and we recently discovered it at an Atlanta estate along with a stack of other vintage prints from a similar era (1950-80s). We will be listing them over the next week or so.
This print measures 14" high x 11" wide. The image view is 11.5" high x 8" wide. It is without a frame and was beautifully printed on heavier weight paper. There is age-related toning and foxing along the white border (consistent with age), and it cannot be seen on the image.
This print is in overall excellent condition, without rips or tears, and is ready for framing.
A lovely vintage print for any haunted wall.
