The perfect dress for any Lady of the Night.
This gorgeous, Spanish-inspired dress has a heavy, black lace-drenched bodice with rhinestone 'disco ball' buttons. The large, bell-shaped wrist cuffs are simply divine.
Made by Lord & Taylor in the 1970s, it is without a size or fabric label, so please check your measurements for an accurate fit.
It measures 59" long from shoulder to lower hem; and the bust measures 18" from seam to seam. The waist is 16" across and hips are 19.5" from seam to seam. It has a rear zipper with an upper hook and eye/loop closure. Each long sleeve measures 24" long with an 8.5" arm opening.
Made of a heavy polyester or polyester blend fabric, this dress has a long, front split accent. It is trimmed in 2" black rose lace along the lower hem.
Circa 1960/70s, this is a beautiful dress and it is in excellent condition. It appears minimally worn and is without stains, rips, holes or other noted damage. The only issue to note is the hook and eye closure on the back is missing the eye (or thread loop), but the hook is intact. The Lord & Taylor tag is also loose on one side.
We have not cleaned this garment and we will leave that decision to the buyer. It is for dry clean only.
Beautiful in black for wear or collection.
