Gunne Sax ~ Jessica McClintock ~ Black Dress w/ Tulle

Made in the USA, this sweet, vintage formal gown was made by Jessica McClintock for Gunne Sax.

It is labeled as a Size 7/8, measuring 30.5" long from top to lower hem. The bust is 15.5" across, the waist measures 14" and the hips are free.

This is a strapless dress ~ all in black with a pink, tulle underskirt peeking from the lower hem.

It is in perfect condition, without stains, rips, or holes. There was probably a neck strap at one time since buttons are intact on the interior of the upper bodice (see last pic for detail). The neck strap is no longer intact, but can be added if a strap is desired.

Circa 1980s, the maker's label is still intact. The fabric is made of a soft and silky, black polyester and the back adds a bit of intrigue with its pink accents topped with a petite bow. It has a side zipper closure with a few storage-related wrinkles.
