Oh, my aching ears.
This charming pair of Victorian style sculptures features a boy playing the saxophone while the girl shields her ears.
Made in 1971, these white & cream-colored, resin busts were produced by Universal Statuary Corporation in Chicago by the artist, Hendrick.
The boy measures approx. 9.5" high x 5" wide. The curly-haired girl measures 9.75" high x 5" wide. Both feature gothic roses along their pedestal bases.
They are in excellent condition, with light dust in their grooves from age. They also show minor scattered wear, but nothing that detracts and hardly worth the mention.
Just a whimsical pair of vintage busts to set the mood for your next daunting music lesson.
