Romantic Vintage Black Lace Mantilla or Head Veil

This mysterious, black lace mantilla or head veil is perfect for any special devotional ceremony.

The lace is delicate and beautiful, measuring 40" long x 19.5" wide, in a triangular fashion.

It is without holes, tears or stains and does not have a maker's label. I am uncertain of its exact age, but believe it is circa 1950/60s.

These veils have been used since the 16th century and are haunting vintage at its best.
