Vintage Black Op Art Dollar Marquee Sign

This industrial, vintage sign is cool because of its optical illusion design. The black graphic dollar sign is shaded in some areas and cross-hatched (or checkered) in others, displaying a 3-dimensional appearance. I'm sure it really "popped out" when placed in front of a back-light.

This thin, clear plastic, marquee sign measures 10" high x 4 5/8" wide. It is in overall, very good condition. There are scattered scuffs and scratches on the plastic, but this is to be expected considering its previous use and age. They cannot be seen when placed in front of a painted wall since the plastic is clear.

It is marked 8" ZIP, and is most likely from the 1960s era. Just cool vintage to get your creative juices flowing!
