We are offering a beautiful small, antique side chair-it stands at 27" tall and the seat height is 14.5" high. It's woodwork has finely turned front legs, shows multiple curves in the back and has a round seat with delicate caning(all in good condition). The chair is grain painted in a rosewood brown, has landscape scenes(lakes and mountains) with gold filigree decoration on the back supports, gold striping on the turned legs and a spray of roses painted on the front of the seat. There is a nice patina to the paint and it's has good age coloring on the bottom of the unpainted wood seat that is stamped 843. The age is probably mid 1800's Victorian and we are guessing it was made in the New England or New York area. It is in structurally very good condition. The decorative painting has faded somewhat due to it's age. The grain painted areas only shows normal paint wear at the edges of the seat and on the top of the seat back. This would work for a larger doll, too. Shipping to be determined-I have freight listed but this can be packaged at UPS and sent with ground rates. Please contact if you would like a quote. Please email with any questions or if you desire more photos. We are always happy to help out our customers!
