Vintage Beribboned Poke Bonnet Doll Hat
Blue, turquoise, lavender and raspberry combine to produce this shirred beribboned poke bonnet style doll hat with the raspberry color predominating. A 2" grosgrain rosette rests on either side. You can just see a hint of the dark teal lining. The chapeau is a bit large for the 7" head circumference of the hat stand (not for sale) which displays it, but the 9" head circumference of the Irwin doll seems to work well with the 3" depth of the poke bonnet. The unusual thing about this bonnet is the glistening of the occasional sparkle in the silky ribbon fabric.
