Each of these sterling silver nut cups manufactured by the F.B. Rogers Silver Company has a lovely shell pattern in the four corners of the square shaped piece. The F. B. Rogers Silver Company originated in Shelburne, Massachusetts in 1883, becoming a division of the National Silver Co. in 1955. No monogram detracts from these tiny dishes that measure 2-7/8" square and standing 3/4" high. Markings on the underside say, "Trade Mark 18 (picture of crown) 83, F.B. Rogers Silver Co., Sterling, 142". In very good condition with the patina of older sterling, the classic design would make a thoughtful gift for a 25th wedding anniversary. They would also look good on your Christmas end table filled with red and green M & Ms! Thank you for visiting.
