Forlorn Antique Cotton Wool Donkey

This large and forlorn looking Edwardian donkey Putz figure stands 4-3/4" tall x 6" from nose to tail. He has a wire armature which allows his knobby, arthritic legs to move a bit so he can stand without falling. His tiny black glass eyes can barely see in front of his 1-1/2" long drooping ears, and his gray body is starting to lighten in color from his great age of over 100 years. His parts are all intact and despite his shabby look, he is very sturdy, having lasted for well over one hundred years. This very rare animal is most special, a perfect gift for a Democratic friend, a collector of vintage Christmas or best of all, to keep for yourself! He has been with me since I started collecting, and I hope someone appreciates him as I have. Thank you for stopping by.
