Framed Vintage Men's Clothing Ad

You are looking at a large (17" x 21") men's clothing sample page from Wanamaker & Brown Clothiers that shows the styles of men's suits for the years 1913-1914. John Wanamaker is said to be the "father of advertising" and was the first to open a department store in Philadelphia in 1869. shown is a man's Norfolk jacket with yoke and inverted pleats with matching slacks; the back of the Norfolk jacket: a Three-button Sack with rounded corners and concave lapels: and a Two-button Sack. A later reeded frame and mat enhance the authentic print of men's stylish clothing during the early part of the 20th century. Just the thing for a fashion conscious gentleman or an upscale haberdashery! Thank you for stopping by. Please email me if I can help you in any way.
