Boxed Van Dell Pin/Earring Set, 1950s

Van Dell Jewelry was started in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1943. It made high quality jewelry with designs resembling fine jewelry and was expensive when purchased. The box says, "A Gift of Love for Mother, by Van Dell". The 1-1/2" diameter circle pin is a stylized flower bouquet with three dangling faux pearls. The matching screwback earrings are 3/4" and each has a single pearl drop with a pair of veined leaves. Back of each earring is marked "Van Dell, Gold Filled". I can not find a mark on the brooch. Back of pin closes with a safety catch to prevent loss, and both pin and earrings are in excellent condition. The set would make a great gift for mother on her special day. Thank you for looking. Please email me if I can help you in any way.
