Revere Pewter Liberty Bowl

Revere Pewter Liberty Bowl This bowl measures 8 ¼ inches. The hallmark is Paul Revere. This classic shape has been an American favorite in design since our founding fathers enjoyed forming the will to resist oppression through taxation without representation. Paul Revere of Massachusetts first created it in 1768. The original is in the Boston Museum. It comes from an estate from Virginia where it has been used since the 1960's. It shows wear which adds to the beauty of pewter and its' absolute durability. Check out other metal and silver plate items in janettabletoptreasures.
