Dissolution of Parliament English Soft Paste Bowl It reads "My Lords and Gentlemen I have been induced to resort this measure for the progress of ascertaining the sense of my in the way in which it can most constitutionally and authentically expressed" This event took place June 15, 1626 by King Charles I. This bowl more likely was produced in the 1800's when soft paste was still the mode in ceramics. It measures 5 ½ X 2 ¾ inches. It is made of soft paste. The condition is most excellent. It has been a prized addition to an extensive collection. It has recently been released from an estate.
