A are Vintage litho tin friction drive toy train made in Japan circa 1950's. Though it is one piece , there are two cars, a locomotive and a passenger car along with a coal box in between. There is very little wear and tear and the litho graphics are outstanding. "Central Railway Express" is depicted on the passenger car, there are two great looking Indian Chiefs on each side of the locomotive and it's marked Japan on the rear of the last car. Overall condition is very good but the friction drive is rough in forward motion and smooth in reverse Also note that there is a dent on the top front of the passenger car. This dent shows very clearly in most of the photos attached.
Measuring approximately 8 1/2" long by 2" tall and 1 1/2" wide.A great toy for any collection. Please call or e-mail us with any questions.
