Offered is a very ornately decorated silver plated pocket lighter from the 1920's. An extremely well made pocket lighter of high quality and although there are no evident maker markings, this lighter is most likely of European origin. There is a cartouche on the front with the initials "ABY" artfully engraved along with a decorative engraved flowered relief on all four sides. The fill screw countersinks into the bottom with a very unusual loop attachment built into it. Note the odd look of the cam-operated lift-arm that matches the flint holder and gives the appearance of a pair of lift-arms on the top. This lighter operates with a good spark, is a little dirty on top but shows little signs of wear. Remember our motto, "Don't Mess with the Patina!"
Standing approximately 2 3/8" high by 1" wide and 1/2" thick this is a very unique and attractive pocket lighter to add to any collection. Please call or e-mail us with any questions.
