Universal Art Tin Litho Mechanical Train Set

This is a 4 car train set, tin lithograph made by Universal Art Company Circa 1949-1951. Unique Art's first mechanical trains were introduced in 1949 and used a clockwork mechanism. Because Electric trains were introduced in the early 50's, Unique Art Co. stopped making train sets in 1951. This set is in excellent shape for its age. It has been played with and there are some superficial scratches. The set comes with 12 tracks. While all parts move, the engine mechanical works would need some cleaning to get it going.
