Flow Blue small platter Sevres pattern Wood & Son

This is a lovely small sized platter. Made in England, by WOOD & SON. Early 1900,s. This is in the Flow Blue style. This started in Staffordshire, England in the 1800,s. It was accomplished by adding a cup of lime or ammonia to the kiln. This created a blurr effect to the blue colors,,hence, flow blue. It features a lovely ring of blue flowers and beading. It does show some accents of gold but a lot of the gold has worn off. No crazing, chips or cracks. It measures 11 1/2in. across by 8 in. wide. It is in the Sevres Pattern.
