Coronet, Limoges, Pheasant plate, signed

This is very pretty and the colors are vivid. Coronet China from France. Whiteware is from Limoges.CORONET China Co. was based in Paris, Limoges and Germany. George Borgfeldt in New York began importing these dishes in the 1900,s. Many dishes featured flowers, birds or fowl. This plate has a ruffled edge. Much of the gold is worn around the edge of the plate and there is a chip in the right upper edge. The mark on back is a green Coronet crown. There is a small hole on back to allow a string for hanging.The plate is signed by Max.
