Trifari Alfred Philippe black rabbit silver whiskers pin clip 1938 rare book piece

Trifari's black rabbit clip is said to be one of the masterpieces of costume jewelry with museum quality, and of coarse its scarcity has something to do with that. This pin is in remarkable condition other than his red nose is missing the enameling. It measures 2-3/16 inches. With the exception of one dark stone, all stones are sparkling bright and clear with no yellowing. His eye is even painted better than the book example. His black enamel face and back set off the paved stones for a wonderful display.
