D'Arceau Limoges Stained Glass Christmas Plate Series - 1980

Limoges, a city in France, is the birthplace of a fine type of unique porcelain china made in the factories around that city. D'Arceau's stained glass Christmas plate series, which was made from 1975 through 1982 is a beautiful example of Limoges quality porcelain.

This is the sixth one of the series, it's numbered on the back with a detailed description (in French). It's titled "Joyeuse Nouvelle" or "Tidings Of Great Joy".

There is already a hanger on the back, so you will be able to immediately put it on display. It's in mint condition, and comes in the original box along with a certification of authority and a descriptive pamphlet. It is 8 1/2" in diameter.

If you are interested in having the entire series, I would consider a group offer. But you better hurry before one of the plates is sold!
