Gorgeous silver plated chafing dish by F.B. Rogers Silver Company Pattern #7745
F.B. Rogers Silver Company began in Shelburne Falls, Mass. in 1883. They made mostly plated ware, and some sterling. In 1955 it became a division of the National Silver Co. This piece has a gorgeous rim around the edge; the legs have a lion's head on top, and end with claw feet at the bottom. It is a very heavy piece, weighing approximately 7 1/2 pounds. It has a wooden handle for easy service. It stands approximately 12 inches high, is 10 inches in diameter and is 2 ½ inches deep.
