Vintage Hand Quilted Yellow Quilt with Embroidered Flowers
This beautiful vintage quilt is 66"x76". A buttercup yellow combined cotton hand quilted and embellished with hand embroidered wreaths of vines, leaves and flowers on muslin and stitched onto the yellow. There are 5 panel in the first row, 4 in the second, then 5 again and so on. There are 11 rows. The edge is hand quilted, as is a decoration on each panel. It is a really awesome piece. It has never been washed. Some of the panels show marks where the embroidery hoop was, other don't. I found no stains or tears, and no odor. The backing is the same material as the front and there is a lining for warmth and stability. There is a piece of paper laying on the quilt that I did not see when I was taking pictures, I have taken it off.
