This vintage Japanese wine color kimono is 57" long from the collar seam to the hem. The collar is 2 1/2" high and it is 24" across the back, from sleeve seam to sleeve seam, the sleeves are 13"long. This is an older kimono hand stitched and made for a lady. This is just a gorgeous piece. It started out as a white piece of silk, then the flowers and other decoration were hand painted, with the resist method and then the background color was "washed" on, then the flowers and other decorations were outlined, hand painted with metallic paint. The main fabric is a wine color,(closer to the third picture and the last picture than the first two pictures) with a leaf and vine pattern in a lighter shade, that is the washed on color. This kimono is not lined. This piece is in great condition, I couldn't find any stains, wear or anything bad. I have entered this as a medium, however they are made to be adjusted at the waist for both length, and width. The fabric across the back at the waist is 24" Please email me with any questions and thank you for shopping here at Something Wonderful.
