Vintage Oriental White Lacquerware Dragon Vase
This vase has two really cool dragons circling the center of the vase. There is a lot of detail and decoration on this vase.
The vase is 12" tall 4 1/4" at the base, and 6" at the widest point.
There is a brass insert at the top and on the bottom, the inside is the material, a lacquer or resin that the outside is.
There is a lot of detail, it was poured into a mold and then workers cleaned up each line of the decoration.
I've only seen two others of this material, it was probably too labor intensive to mass produce.
Someone has tried to pry the base plate off and so there is a crack line around the bottom of the vase.
