Platinum and 14k Gold and Diamond Stud Earrings, 0.80 Carat Total, European Cut Diamonds
Every woman needs one great pair of diamond studs, and these are the ones. Beautiful, white, sparkly old european cut diamonds of G-H color and VS2 clarity, each stone is approx. 0.40 carats. Each stone is set in a platinum setting of vintage origin there are no marks but they test strong for 950 platinum. Both posts tested strong for 14k gold. One earring post is marked "585" (european marking for 14K gold) and each earring back is marked "14K", so the earring backs may be replacements. The 585 mark is only viewable under microscope, although you may see it with a higher powered loupe. The diamonds have great brilliance and color and appear larger due to their settings. A great pair of earrings to wear every day!
