RARE Antique Japanese Vase!

This rare, Japanese vase was bought by a seasoned collector who recognized the unusual square shape with the square opening in the top as very desirable. The painting of each side is exquisite with serene landscapes and delicate bamboo, obviously done by a talented artist. The body of the vase is gray with blue detailing that so enthralls collectors. It is almost 9 inches tall and almost 3 1/2 inches square. The top edge is beveled and decorated, leading up to the opening. The original buyer inspected the bottom of the vase quite carefully and recognized it as being very old. It is in pristine condition, with no cracks, chips, or other flaws. The original price of this vase was well over two and half times the current listing price. Because the current owner knows nothing about Japanese antique porcelain, she feels someone out there may know why this piece got so much attention and commanded such a high price just a few years ago. Even if you are only going to have one piece of antique Japanese porcelain, this would be the piece to have. Its presence is lovely and so evocative of peaceful Asian landscapes.
