A two-month layaway is available for this item. This item was found in FRANCE, but will be shipped from the USA to save you loads on postage. This fabulous RED leatherette over wood doll trunk just arrived from France direct from a French attic. It is in wonderful condition . . . only the key is long gone and the lift out tray is missing. But the COLOR is so sought-after, all the metal is intact and the wood slats and handle are pristine. The top is domed, and on the inside lid is an EXQUISITE 19th Century image that is gilded with gold and surrounded by Dresden papers! The original litho was gone, but we buy every antique 19th Century image we find in France of children, and we have a supply of antique Dresden papers I bought from a family in Germany whose great-grandfather was in the business. I dug thorough our antique trove and replaced the missing litho with these gems. Your doll's items will be set off to their full glory displayed in this fabulous, rare French doll trunk. The trunk measures 8 1/4" long, is 5 1/2" wide and stands 4 3/4" to the top of the domed lid. Imagine this under the Christmas tree OR next to antique Valentines in a HOLIDAY SCENE!
