We were DELIGHTED to find this precious doll toy antique French pocket watch this week! It is a TOY dating from the NINETEENTH CENTURY, but the hands actually move and change to the quarter hours. It is printed on heavy paper on the front and the back has a lovely embossed motif on the BRASS CASING. The BEST PART is that it measures only 2 cm (slightly less than 3/4th of an inch) in diameter, making it THE SCALE PERFECT for even the most PETITE French doll. It is in excellent antique toy condition and only the second doll's watch this OLD AND THIS SMALL we have yet found. Even if your doll doesn't remember how to tell time in this modern age of cell phones, it will still be a smashing accessory to attach to the bodice of her frock! If you would like to have a watch crystal attached to the watch, your local jeweler can do it for you very inexpensively. I would recommend doing this to keep the wonderful old paper watch face protected and pristine forever.
