Antique 18th Century LOUIS XV French PARIS LARGE sterling silver ladle- exquisite

For your consideration a truly elegant ladle made in France. This very large ladle is graceful in its simplicity. The pattern is fiddle; the bowl completely round, the handle is solid sterling.

Measurements: About 14 1/2 inches long . Weight: 237 grams

Hallmarks: There are a full set of hallmarks that are unusually difficult to read except for the last one, the head of a cow which was used as a discharge hallmark ( Poinçon de Décharge) for Paris between 1775 and 1781, during the reign of LOUIS XV. The mark of discharge was the only mark stamped to the finished object.
