A great piece here! Vintage copper tea kettle sporting "Made in England" on the bottom. It has a stationary wood handle, wood finial and a goose-neck spout. The mouth of the spout bears the slightest imperfection of a slant or bend. The kettle has been lined with tin.
From spout to back it is about 10" and from the base to top of handle it stands 9" high. The patina on this tea kettle is wonderful at the top and gradually brightens to a shinier copper further down the sides and bottom. This can be noted in the photos, particularly the band at the base of the snug fitting lid. Overall, this is a great tea kettle and would be a delightful addition to any collection!
