Offered by Montgomery Wards from the early 1940's until 1950 was this Porcelier 6 cup teapot. The official name for this pattern was "Dutch Boy and Girl," but it was also sometimes referred to as "Dolls," "Dutch Couple," or "Dutch Wedding." In the center of the teapot it is embossed with a Dutch boy and girl. They're holding hands and each is holding a pink flower in their other hand. There is a pink flower above center and a pink and yellow flower beneath their feet. Circling the top and bottom of the pot is an embossed border of leaves and vines. The pot is ivory in color. It measures 5-1/2" from bottom to top rim and the lid adds roughly another 3". The lid has the arched knob. There is a very slight fleabite on the underside tip of the spout. Otherwise, the pot is free of chips, cracks or crazing.
