Horlick's Malted Milk Vintage Jar

Horlick's malted milk was the first dried milk food that was successfully marketed throughout the world. Founded by two British brothers, James & William, they initially commenced business in Chicago around 1873. Needing more space the Company moved to Racine, Wisconsin and then around 1890 James returned to England and another factory at Slough was built in 1906 by a mechanical engineer named A.G. Christeson.

This clear glass bottle is in excellent condition and is complete with its metal lid, which is showing slight rust. The mouth of the bottle is about 2-1/2" wide and the base of it is 5" wide. It stands almost 11" high.
