Our reference indicates the curled dragon on the underside of this jug, along with the wording USONA and Goodwin in script, dates this jug in the 1905 to 1912 time frame. On the underside it is also in all cap letters called a "LEMONADE JUG". We know there were at one time cups accompanying this jug as we've seen photos of them. Sadly, we have no cups to offer, but do have this still very beautiful lemonade jug! The jug is approximately 6 inches tall and about 8 inches from the tip of the spout to the tip of the applied handle. The handle is beaded on both sides. Hand painted on this jug are huge bunches of grapes. They are done in pale purples, greens, violets and aquas. The other side of the jug has three clusters of three grapes each. At one time the top rim of the jug had a gold gilt. Unfortunately most of that gold trim has been worn off. However, the jug itself is free of chips, cracks and crazing. It is still a very beautiful jug and would add to any collection.
