She was described as a Pigtail Girl Planter and named in honor of Hildegard Lary of Westville, IL (according to our Royal Copley reference). Raised lettering of Royal Copley appears on her back, along with the traditional Copley "runners" along the bottom. She measures about 7" tall and 4-1/2" wide. She is dressed in a white/pink hat and blouse and her pigtails are tied with blue bows. Her eyes are closed and her mouth puckered in an anticipatory kiss. Given her age, she is in pretty good shape, but not totally without issues. There is a small chip on one of the runners and at her front base there is what appears to be a small nick in the glaze. She also has a couple of hairline cracks on the front, right opening and back left opening of the planter. None of these flaws are visible when looking at her from the front. She still has vivid coloring and an unblemished appearance.
