For your consideration is this very early Hall China covered vegetable. It bears an early Hall China stamp, which was used until the early teens. The shape of this dish mimicked that of Haviland and other major European makers of that time. It is decorated in pretty violets, green leaves and a gold trim. Amazingly, for as old as it is, there are absolutely no chips or cracks anywhere. There is some visible crazing and complete loss of gold trim on one of the handles. There is also some loss of gold trim on the top of the lid handle. This is an awesome piece!
