Collecting baby chicks in her long, pink dress is this sweet little, blond haired girl expressing "An Easter Greeting." This advertising card measures 5" wide by about 7" high and was one of "a beautiful picture card in every package of Lion Coffee during 1894." The back offers a pocket knife free in exchange for 25 large Lion Heads cut from Lion Coffee wrappers. It also shows an offer of Uncle Tom's Cabin in exchange for 20 Lion Heads from Lion Coffee wrappers.
The lower left hand corner (backside) shows: Gast Lith Co., New York & Chicago in the lower left corner; the number "8" in the bottom middle and on the lower right hand corner it reads: "Copyright, 1894 Woolson Spice Co."
The card is in good condition, but does have minor soiling front and back. There is a barely visible slight crease (about 3/4 of the way down) on the left to middle of the card. There is a slight bend on the lower right corner. This card would make an excellent addition to your collection!
